Webinar: Nonprofit Advocacy in an Election Year

This webinar will explain the tools available under federal tax law to 501(c)(3) nonprofits seeking to participate in public policy during election season. Participants will learn how nonprofits can engage with voters around issues of interest and encourage civic participation in the upcoming election. Additionally, the webinar will cover how your organization can participate in legislative debates and maximize the reach and impact of any resources you have available to spend on lobbying, at any level of government. By the end of the webinar, participants will understand how to get loud while staying safe under federal tax law.

The webinar will be led by Eric Gorovitz, a principal at Adler & Colvin law firm, whose practice spans a range of nonprofit and tax-exempt legal issues, with emphasis on political advocacy and nonprofit corporate governance.
