Rachel Hatch is Program Director for Community Vitality at The McConnell Foundation. There she is responsible for both grantmaking and investments related to downtown Redding revitalization. The McConnell Foundation has a 30-year track record of philanthropic giving, with $450M+ in assets. Prior to joining The McConnell Foundation in 2017, Rachel worked for 9 years as a research director for the Institute for the Future, based in Palo Alto. As Research Director, she has leveraged foresight to help companies, government groups and philanthropic organizations to focus on trends and disruptions that are likely to influence communities in the next decade.
