Kathleen Enright Starts as President and CEO

The Council is thrilled to welcome Kathleen Enright as our new President and CEO. With the world around us rapidly changing, we have seen the philanthropic community adapt, grow and evolve to advance the common good. From leveraging new technologies to challenging power structures that result in societal inequities, it’s a pivotal time for philanthropy. We look forward to Kathleen’s thoughtful leadership and bold, new ideas.

Over the next several months, Kathleen will hear from members, policymakers and leaders in the field about how the Council will lead the way in making the field more effective and inclusive. Next week, she’ll speak with grantmakers at Foundations on the Hill, and will meet with influential members of Congress about philanthropic and public policy trends. She will also have the opportunity to hear directly from our members next month at Leading Together 2019.

Together, we will reimagine the future of philanthropy to ensure a vibrant democratic society and create a more equitable world. Welcome, Kathleen!
