Marco Antonio Ramírez

Marco Antonio Ramírez is president of Ashanti Peru - Peruvian Network of Afro-descendant Youth. Since 2013, he has been director of the Training School for Young Afro-descendant Leaders, and has managed to train more than 300 young people from Afro-Peruvian communities for the defense and promotion of their human rights. In 2020, with the support of UNFPA, he founded the first Afro-descendant Youth Leadership School in Latin America and the Caribbean, with 61 young Afro-descendants graduated from 18 countries. His organization is supported for Global Fund for Children.
