Arshi Siddiqui

During the course of her career, Arshi has gained invaluable experience at leading institutions in Washington, with nearly 15 years as a partner at a top law firm and her time as a senior staffer on Capitol Hill, which included working for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), navigating the House Ways and Means Committee, and serving as policy advisor to various members of Congress and campaigns. During her tenure in the Hill, she worked to develop and advance a broad range of policy priorities, collaborating closely with relevant committees, members of Congress, Senate leadership and the Administration. Her efforts contributed to the enactment of several major bills, including:

1. The bipartisan economic stimulus bill negotiated with the Bush administration and a breakthrough compromise on free trade agreements that helped pave the way for bipartisanship on the trade agenda.
2. Former President Obama’s economic recovery package following the 2009 financial crisis.
3. The Affordable Care Act (ACA).

While on the Hill, she focused on issues related to tax, international trade, innovation, health care, financial services and retirement, which also required her to help develop compelling messaging and stakeholder campaigns to promote various policy initiatives.

Arshi holds a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Davis, and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
