Nicolette Naylor

Nicolette Naylor is a South African feminist human rights lawyer, with a Masters in International Human Rights. In 2007 she joined philanthropy as a Program Officer for Human Rights at the Ford Foundation. In 2015 she assumed the role of Regional Director for Ford Foundation's Southern Africa office. She is currently the International Program Director: Gender, Racial & Ethnic Justice. Nicolette has focused on women’s rights as well as the practice of social justice philanthropy and has written extensively about the practice of social justice philanthropy and its contradictions when it comes to power and privilege.
