Zack Huffman
Courageous Collaborations Initiative, Stand Together
Director
Zack Huffman directs Courageous Collaborations initiatives for Stand Together and the Charles Koch Institute. He’s passionate about healing our nation’s divisions by helping Americans recognize our shared humanity, embrace our differences, and solve challenges together. Prior to his work protecting civil liberties and promoting peaceful pluralism, Huffman began his career as a freelance journalist. Over his time with the Stand Together community, which began almost a decade ago, Huffman helped found the program that’s grown into the Poynter-Koch Media & Journalism Fellowship. He graduated from Berry College with degrees in Economics and Political Science, explores the relationship between art and social change as a freelance illustrator and art director, and lives in Miami with his partner, Peter.
