Executive Vice President, Community Action, Policy and Strategy
As executive vice president of community action, policy and strategy, Gina leads SVCF’s impact team to ensure Silicon Valley is a place where all people can lead economically secure and fulfilling lives. Previously, Gina served as senior vice president for public policy and special advisor to the CEO, driving SVCF’s public policy agenda. She has also served as SVCF’s director of grantmaking and has led SVCF’s education grantmaking strategy. Prior to joining SVCF, Gina was director of innovation at the Silicon Valley Education Foundation. She has also held several public-sector positions in Mexico. She holds a B.S. in economics from ITAM in Mexico City, an M.S. in economics from the University of London and an M.A. in international policy studies from Stanford. She resides in Palo Alto with her husband and has two wonderful adult children and two cats.
