Andy Thomas is Levitt Pavilion's Deputy Director. A former music journalist and life long musician, Thomas has performed music in eleven different countries and all over the United States including a Levitt AMP series performance in Anchorage, Alaska in 2016.
Since joining Levitt Pavilion in 2016, Thomas has worked diligently with the Ruby Hill community to ensure the pavilion is a safe and inclusive space for all. In 2017 he launched Levitt's BandStart program which identified students from elementary schools in the Ruby Hill/Godsman neighborhood and, not only offered them free lessons, but, through a partnership with Guitar Center, gave these students free music instruments as well.
Outside of his day to day tasks, Thomas, a 2017 "Leadership Arts" graduate, also serves as co-chair for the National Independent Venue Association's "Sound Advisory Task Force" and also serve's on its DEI committee.
