Jennifer Heinzman

Jennifer has been serving communities since 2006 when she went to work as the Executive Director of the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce in Clare, Michigan directly after college. With a passion for community and economic development, she continued on that same path after being recruited to the Mecosta County, Michigan Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving as the President and CEO of the Barry County Chamber and Economic Development Alliance, in Barry County, Michigan.

Jennifer has spent much of her career focusing on barriers to employment, community advancement, and business development. With housing, broadband access, workforce development, placemaking, and childcare as her organization’s current primary areas of focus, she values the partnerships in her region and understands that collaboration is the key to success.

Jennifer is very involved in her community where she serves on 14 various Boards and is President-Elect for her local Rotary Club. She is currently enrolled in the Institute of Organizational Management (IOM) and prides herself on being a lifelong learner. Jennifer graduated from Central Michigan University with bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Sociology, and a Master of Science degree in Public Administration.
