Wisconsin Philanthropy Network
Wisconsin Philanthropy Network (WPN) is a 501c(3) nonprofit professional membership association of philanthropic organizations. It is the only statewide association for private foundations (family, independent, and corporate), corporate giving programs, community foundations, donor-advised funds, charitable trusts and individual philanthropists who together represent over $7 billion in assets and invest over $600 million annually to improve the quality of life for Wisconsin residents.
WPN’s vision promotes the advancement of philanthropic effectiveness through dynamic community partnerships, productive idea sharing, and interactive discussions focused on relevant and emerging issues. As Wisconsin’s premier philanthropic resource, dedicated to the needs of foundations, corporate giving programs, individuals and other funders, WPN is committed to ensuring that Wisconsin grantmakers have the skills needed to maximize funding impact, the opportunity to promote actionable results by facilitating communication between funders and nonprofits, and the access to resources needed to make sound funding decisions. WPN accomplishes this through its flagship services (professional development, networking opportunities, and research), and through its role as a statewide convener and thought-leader in the philanthropic community.
