Anita Hill is a University Professor of Law, Public Policy and Women’s Studies at Brandeis University, Chair of the Commission to Eliminate Sexual Harassment and Advance Equality in the Workplace, and Counsel at Cohen, Milstein, Sellers and Toll. The youngest of 13 children from a farm in Oklahoma, Hill is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Yale Law School. She began her career in private practice in Washington, D.C., before serving in the federal government. Anita Hill became the first African American to be tenured at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law.

In addition to numerous other publications, Hill’s latest book is Reimagining Equality: Stories of Gender, Race and Finding Home (Beacon Press, 2011), an analysis of the housing market collapse of 2008 and its impact on gender and racial equality.

Professor Hill serves as a member of the Boards of Directors of the National Women’s Law Center and the Boston Lawyers for Civil Rights.
