Bill Doherty

Bill Doherty, Ph.D., is a professor who teaches family therapy at the University of Minnesota and a co-founder of Braver Angels, a citizen initiative bringing conservatives and liberals together to counteract political polarization and restore the fraying social fabric in American society. Braver Angels has developed strategies and skills for constructive conversations about finding common ground across the political divide. Bill developed the Braver Angels workshop approach and has facilitated workshops in venues from local libraries to statehouses and Congress.
