Erica Etelson

Erica Etelson is a writer, community activist, and certified Powerful Non-Defensive Communication (PNDC) facilitator. A former human rights attorney, she is one of the co-founders of the Rural Urban Bridge Initiative and its Communications Director. Following the 2016 election, Etelson became active in the resistance movement and in red-blue dialogue initiatives. She is the author of “Beyond Contempt: How Liberals Can Communicate Across the Great Divide,” along with articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, Christian Science Monitor, Truthout, The Nation and elsewhere. She lives on a small farm in Humboldt County, California.
