Erin Oppenheim

Erin Oppenheim is a marketing associate for the Council on Foundations with a broad background in copywriting, editing, and digital marketing strategy for nonprofits, philanthropy, social enterprise, and advocacy organizations. She is a mission-driven marketer who desires to leave the world better and more just than she found it.
Most recently she led digital campaigns for the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Before that, Erin was a digital account executive with Fenton Communications serving nonprofits, foundations, and coalitions of all sizes like The National Park Foundation, Amnesty International USA, Democracy for All 2021, and the California Community Foundation’s We Count LA campaign to promote an accurate census count.
Erin holds a bachelor’s in journalism and media communication from Colorado State University and a master’s in international and intercultural communication from American University.
Outside the office, Erin can either be found exploring the mountains of Colorado with her dog or covered in clay at her local pottery studio.
