Janet N. Ekezie

Janet N. Ekezie is a life enthusiast hoping to influence change through compassion and curiosity. Janet has worked in the public sector for several years. She first worked as a service-learning coordinator, working to coordinate experiential opportunities for students. During this time, Janet collaborated with the United Way of South Texas, which led her to work for the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County (UWSA) as a Family Engagement Ambassador and for the Dual Generation Initiative, which aims to eradicate generational poverty for low-income families. Today, Janet is a Junior Associate at the San Antonio Area Foundation, where she provides scholarship opportunities that close opportunity gaps for those who need it most.
