Since joining Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors 2014, Jon has supported strategy development and implementation with individual, family, institutional, and corporate donors around the world, with a particular focus on climate change, the environment, and democracy and social justice. Previously, Jon worked at the Santa Fe Community Foundation and at the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. Early in his career he worked as a field organizer on the 2008 Obama campaign. He serves on the board of Crossroads Fund, a public foundation that funds racial, social, and economic justice work in the Chicago area; and serves on the advisory board for the Illinois chapter of Mikva Challenge, a civic engagement organization that brings young people into the democratic process, and on the advisory board for the Just Transition Fund, an intermediary that supports economic transition in coal-impacted communities around the country. He was a member of the 2020 class of the Emerging Leaders program at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
