Community Foundation for Gtr Atlanta / GoATL Evolution Funds
Managing Director
Mark Crosswell leads the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s social impact strategy and the GoATL Evolution initiative, a series of impact-focused funds that invest debt and equity capital to address social outcomes across a diverse range of impact areas. GoATL’s funds invest in for-profit and nonprofits initiatives that create equitable opportunities for low-income communities through investments in BIPOC- and women-owned small businesses, affordable housing, K12 education, food systems and healthcare. In addition, Mark and a group of dedicated community leaders founded the GA Social Impact Collaborative (GSIC), a community platform that educates and connects Georgia’s stakeholders interested in impact investing. Prior to his current roles, Mark ran venture development for the Civic Accelerator, a program of Points of Light, a national nonprofit. He also serves in various leadership roles on the boards of GSIC, GA Grantmakers Alliance, RH Dobbs, Jr. Foundation and is often a speaker, or advisor, for various regional and national impact investment initiatives.
