Mishaela Durán serves as the principal advisor to the HHS-Administration for Children and Family’s Assistant Secretary on state relations, strategic initiatives and public-private partnerships.
Mishaela has led national organizations as the Executive Director of the National Parent Teacher Association, the Chief of Staff at the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. She led policy at the National Network for Youth and NPTA, working with Congress and Administrations. Mishaela worked at state agencies in Arizona, Connecticut and D.C., implementing major reforms.
Mishaela earned a B.A. from Yale University and a Master’s in Social Policy from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
