Roey Thorpe

Roey Thorpe is proud to have been an activist for social justice her entire life. This gives her a unique perspective on how people can work together for a more just and fair world. Roey has more than 30 years of experience as an organizational leader and elected official. She currently works as an independent analyst and advisor supporting social justice organizations and the foundations that fund their work. Despite the fact that Roey lives in Portland, Oregon, she has resisted urban chicken farming and other signs of overt hipster culture, preferring a serious game of poker.
