Hispanics in Philanthropy
Sr. Program Manager, Leadership & Learning
Stephanie Roman was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert and studied Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance at Arizona State University. Her work currently involves the development of HIP’s leadership and learning programs with a focus on racial equity. These programs support Latinx social sector professionals in transforming racist-systems to support the Latinx community in living to their fullest potential.
In her free time she works with CALA Alliance (Celebración Artística de las Américas) a multidisciplinary Latino arts organization. There Stephanie helps coordinate events for international artists from across the Americas.
As an artist, Stephanie writes for an AZ politics and is a photographer who is out in action. She is actively seeking opportunities to engage across borders and tell the untold stories of other Latinx folks. Inspiring her now includes photography, reading, her ancestors, and taking up space as a Latinx woman who’s family migrated from Mexico.
