Donor Control

In collaboration with Iowa Council of Foundations, this webinar explored the tricky business of donor control. In an area of donor engagement, close relationships, and advising on charitable expectations, working with donors can be tricky when it comes to control over the funds. The fact is that the law applies to everyone the same whether you are the fundraiser or a board member speaking to a donor. The webinar starts with a brief overview of who is in control and then covered a few case studies and specific examples of how to address and stay in the clear when it comes to the challenges of donor control, involvement, and engagement.
